Sunday’s forecast – More of the same.

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing heavy and squally showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these are thundery with hail mixed in. Winds have been gusting 40 to 55 mph. Todays high so far of 10.7C

Overnight – We are going to see further squally showers. Heavy at times. A risk of them being thundery with a hail mixed in. Some clear spells in between and winds gusting 40 to 50 mph.

Morning and afternoon – More squally showers, Heavy at times and they will merge into some longer spells of rain which will be persistent at times. Some of the squally showers could be thundery. Some sunny spells in between the showers and the rain. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph.

Evening – Yeah no respite we are going to see further spells of rain which will be heavy and persistent at times. Squally showers. Some clear spells. Again heavy and thundery at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
