Monday’s forecast – Staying unsettled

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening, we are seeing further spells of showery and squally rain. Gusty winds and some clear spells. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph wind some gusts reaching 50 mph. Today’s high of 11C

Overnight – We are going to see some rain and showers. Rain heavy at times and some of the showers could be thundery at times. Some clear skies. Winds of 20 to 40 mph the odd gust reaching 50 mph cannot be ruled out.

Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and showers. These again heavy at times but becoming more scattered as the day goes on. It will stay fairly windy with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph but easing as we go into the evening. Some decent spells of sunshine in the breaks in the cloud.

Evening – a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few lingering showers but most places are expected to stay dry. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 5C to 11C
