Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few scattered showers. It’s going to be a chilly night. Temps down to 2/3C in some spots with some mist and fog patches. Winds under 20 mph.
Morning and afternoon – We are going to see a band of rain moving across the Western Isles. The rain will occasionally heavy. Before and after the band of rain moves in we are going to see overcast conditions with some sunny spells. A few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph for Lewis and Harris gusting 30 to 40 mph for the Uists and Barra.
Evening – The band of rain is expected to have cleared. However, in its wake, we are going to see a mixture of clear skies and showers. Some of these becoming increasingly heavy. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph.
Winds will be from the South East but will shift to come from the South West later.
