On this Thursday morning, we are seeing a mainly fine and dry day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Overnight low of 6.7C. Winds under 20 mph. Some gusts have reached 30 mph.
Today – After a sunny start to the day. Cloud will increase as the morning goes on. We are going to see rain move into South Uist and Barra by late morning. Rain will spread into all parts as we go into the afternoon and early evening. This will be heavy at times. Once the rain clears we should see some clear spells. Light rain and drizzle. Mist and fog. Winds will gust 20 to 40 mph.
Friday – Sunshine and showers with brisk winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Some decent spells of sunshine.
Saturday – Outbreaks of rain. These heavy at times. Winds will gusting 30 to 40 mph.
Sunday – Sunshine and showers with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph. Some heavier outbreaks of rain will be possible at times.
