Weather Watch 5th November 2020

Good evening and welcome to Thursdays Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.

On this Thursday evening we are seeing some patchy light rain and drizzle. Most places are dry with a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Today’s high of 13C and winds gusting 30 to 35 mph.

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)

Friday – We are going to see a mainly overcast day with some sunshine. Some spells of light rain and drizzle. But most places will stay dry. Winds of 20 to 30 mph. High pressure dominates across the UK with a cold front to our West. Winds will ease later. Temps of 5 to 11C

Saturday – Little change as high pressure dominates. The cold front still sits to our North West. Winds will be light. We are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Some decent spells of sunshine. Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 4C to 10C. A cold start to the day.

Sunday – Slight changes on Sunday as the high pressure system declines. We are going to see mainly light winds. Some sunshine and cloud. Winds will be from variable directions. Some patchy light rain. Temps of 7C to 12C

UK forecast

Friday mainly fine and dry. Some light rain for the far South East of England and the far North West of Scotland. Saturday for most fine and dry with high pressure dominating. However rain moves in later to the South West of England. Sunday a West and East split rain and showers in the West but drier and brighter in the East.
