Weather Watch 6th November 2020

Good evening and welcome to Saturday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.

On this Saturday afternoon we are seeing fine and dry conditions with sunshine and cloud. Winds are mainly light. Todays high of 10.2C

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)

Sunday – We are going to see light winds for Lewis and Harris with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph for the Uists and Barra. Low pressure sits off the coast of Ireland. It is not a deep area of low pressure. But it is rather broad area. We are going to see overcast conditions with spells of light rain. Winds will be from the East and South East and temps of 5C to 12C

Monday – Not much change with the area of low pressure near Ireland. In the Western Isles we are going to se overcast conditions with some light rain but most places are expected to stay dry. Some sunny spells but the cloud will mainly dominate. Winds will be from the South East under 20 mph for Lewis and Harris but gusting 40 mph for the Uists and Barra. Temps of 8C to 12C

Tuesday – Another grey and overcast day across the Western Isles. A deep area of low pressure sits to the West of Ireland. Over us a weather front sits across the islands. We are going to see brisk winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Cloud dominating with some light rain. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 7C to 12C

UK forecast

Sunday sunshine and showers with brisk winds. Rain heavy at times along the East and West coasts drier in the central parts. Monday another day of sunshine and showers these heavy at times. A mainly fine and dry day on Tuesday with some sunshine.
