Good morning all this is a blog post covering the Met Office yellow weather warning for rain which has been issued for parts of Scotland. No warning have been issued for the Western Isles. However we are still going to see wind and rain on Wednesday.
Worth noting if you are travelling to and from the Western Isles that there could be some disruption to your journey.
The warning comes into force at 02:00 Wednesday morning and expires at 23:59 on Wednesday evening

For us in the Western Isles we are likely to see some heavy rain as well up to 30/35 mm in places. Heaviest likely across Harris and North Uist. Winds will gust 40 to 50 mph and at time we could see winds gusting 50 to 60 mph. At this stage both these are likely to below warning criteria.
