Good evening all this is an evening update on the rainfall totals for the Western Isles. The latest from SEPA and the Met Office.

42 mm of rainfall at Stornoway Airport from midnight today till 1800 this evening image from Starlings roost weather

37 mm of rainfall at South Uist from midnight today till 1800 this evening image from Starlings roost weather

40.2 mm at Creed Bridge

41.6 mm at Birkie Hue

41 mm at Laxdale Harris

32 mm at Mill croft

Strongest wind speeds where 56 mph at South Uist range and 41 mph at Stornoway Airport.
