Thursday’s forecast – Dry start but rain later

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing some heavy rain moving across the Westen Isles. Today’s high of 12.5C. Winds gusting 40 to 55 mph.

Overnight – We are going to see the heaviest of the rain clear away. We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds will also ease. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning – Starts of mostly dry with some sunshine. Cloud will increase with some scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon – Yet more heavy rain is going to sweep across the Western Isles. The rain persistent at times. Winds will also increase. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Evening – We are going to see further rounds of heavy rain into the evening. Slowly starting to see drier spells in the East. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Winds will be from the North West but shifting during the morning to come in from the South and South West. Temps of 7C to 12C
