On this Friday morning, we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and showers. Some of these heavy in places. Winds gusting 30 to 50 mph. Overnight low of 8.4C

Across the highlands and islands on Thursday Stornoway was the wettest with 6.6 mm of rain.

Today – We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy at times. Winds are going to gust 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 to 55 mph strongest for the Uists and Barra. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine in between. Winds will be from the South West and today’s high of 11C

Saturday – Further spells of heavy rain. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Some sunny spells.

Sunday – Sunshine and showers. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph but easing under 20 mph to end the day.

Monday – Further spells of rain. Heavy at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
