On this Friday afternoon we are seeing rain and showers. These heavy at times. Winds of 40 to 50 mph gusting 60 mph at times. Todays high of 10.6C

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Saturday – we are going to see low pressure dominating our weather once again. We are going to see spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Some sunny spells but the cloud will largely dominate. Winds will be from the South and South West but during the afternoon will shift to come in from the South East. Temps of 8C to 11C
Areas of low pressure will dominate the weather across the UK on Saturday.
Sunday – We sit in the middle of broad area of low pressure on Sunday. With tight isobars across the Southern part of the UK. In the Western Isles we are going to see lighter winds. Winds under 25 mph. We are going to see sunshine and scattered showers. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 7C to 11C
Monday – A ridge of high pressure builds in for a time but it will stay unsettled in the Western isles. Brisk winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Overcast conditions with some sunny spells. Further outbreaks of rain at times. Winds will be from the West and temps of 6C to 11C. the next area of low pressure sits out in the Atlantic 979 mb.
UK forecast
Saturday rain and blustery winds across the UK heavy rain again at times. Gales in the North West. Sunday strong winds in the South with gales. Spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Monday heavy rain moves across much of the UK some sunshine and brisk winds.
