On this Thursday morning, we are seeing some showers. Sleet and snow mixed in with the rain. Its a cold morning and some frost and ice in places. Overnight low of 2.9C. Winds for most have dropped under 20 mph.
Today – We are going to see a chilly day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few showers. These showers wintry at times with sleet and snow mixed in. The showers will clear later but cloud will increase. Winds under 20 mph but increasing to 40 mph into the evening. We will also see some late rain moving in during the late evening. Winds will be from the North West but will shift to come from the South West later. Temps of 2C to 7C
Friday – Spells of rain heavy at times with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Strongest for the Uists and Barra turning milder again. Could see some gusting reaching 60 mph.
Saturday – Windy day with some sunshine mainly dry but winds gusting 50 to 60 mph. Spell of rain for the Uists and Barra.
Sunday – Winds easing as the day goes on but still gusting to 30 mph. Sunshine and scattered showers.
