On this Friday morning, we seeing some rain and drizzle around with blustery winds. The rain is heavy in places. Overnight low of 2.5C but now up to 7.5C in spots. Winds are widely gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Across the Highlands and island on. Thursday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 7.0C

Today – We are going to see an overcast day with a few sunny spells. Winds are gusting to gust 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph especially into the evening and we could see the odd gust reaching 60 mph. We are going to see some rain heavy at times during the morning and afternoon turning increasingly showery with rain and drizzle for the late afternoon and evening. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 6C to 12C

Saturday – Windy day with some sunshine mainly dry but with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Sunshine and scattered showers..

Sunday – Winds easing as the day goes on but still gusting to 30 mph. Sunshine and scattered showers.

Monday – Spells of rain which will be heavy and winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
