Saturday’s forecast – Yay more wind.

Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing winds gusting 50 to 60 mph. We are seeing a mainly fine and dry evening with a mixture of clear skies and cloud with some mainly light rain. Today’s high of 11.8C

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Showers will turn heavy and squally and these could be thundery at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Further heavy and squally showers. These could have some hail sleet mixed in for good measure and some could be thundery. These will be fairly well scattered. Plenty of cloud with some sunshine. Staying windy throughout winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to possibly 60 mph.

Evening – Staying windy ( yeah I know). We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to possibly 60 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 5C to 8C but feeling much colder in the wind chill.
