On this Sunday morning, we are seeing squally showers moving across the Western Isles. These are heavy in places with hail and sleet mixed in. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Overnight low of 6.0C
Across the highlands and islands on Saturday Stornoway was the sunniest with 2.7 hours of sunshine.
Today – We are going to see frequent squally showers moving across the Western Isles. These heavy with sleet and hail mixed. In between some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds of 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph. Winds will be from the West. Temps of 5C to 9C
Monday – Heavy rain moving in during the morning and afternoon. Drier to start and end the day. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph whilst the rain moves in. Lighter around that time.
Tuesday – Overcast and showery day with winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. A colder day.
Wednesday – Sunshine and showers with brisk winds.
