Weather Watch 24th November 2020

Good afternoon and welcome to Tuesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.

On this Tuesday afternoon we are seeing overcast conditions with rain moving in from the East. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Todays high of 9.6C so far.

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)

Wednesday – We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers on Wednesday. These will be fairly well scattered. Some decent sunshine in between the showers. A risk of frost and ice in spots in the morning and into the evening. Winds will be from the South West but shifting as the day goes on to come from the North and North West. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 1C to 10C

Thursday – A fine dry day across the Western Isles as high pressure dominates. We are going to see light winds. Plenty of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. A chance of some frost and ice first thing in the morning. Winds start from the North and North West but shifts to come from the South West by late morning. Temps of 1C to 10C

Friday – We are going to see a weather front moving across the Western Isles. It will be an overcast day with some spells of light rain with a few evening showers. Winds will be light under 20 mph. Some decent spells of sunshine. Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 5C to 11C

Wednesday rain in the West which will die out and it will be fine and dry across the UK and becoming colder. Thursday fine and dry with sunshine and cloud. Light winds and a few scattered showers. Widespread frost and ice. Friday most places fine and dry some rain in Scotland but this clearing away later.
