Thursdays forecast – Cold start rain later.

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a dry night for the Uists and Barra with clear skies and cloud here. Showers for Lewis and Harris. Winds under 10 mph. Temps under 5C. Today’s high of 9.2C

Overnight – We are going to see a mainly fine and dry night. A few well scattered showers cannot be ruled out. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Temps dropping down to 0C. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Mainly fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud. It should be dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Becoming milder as a weather front moves in. Cloud increases and we are going to see rain move across the Western Isles. This won’t arrive till late evening for most. A dry start. Winds will also increase gusting 20 to 35 mph.

Winds will be from South and South West. Temps of 0C to 11C
