On this Monday morning, we are seeing some lingering spells of rain which are heavy in places. Some dry spells with plenty of cloud and some clear spells. Overnight low of 7.6C. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.
Across the highlands and islands, Sunday Harris Quidnish had 2.2 mm of rainfall. .
Today – We are going to see the heaviest of the rain clear away from the Western Isles. A few lingering showers this morning and these will be heavy at times. We are going to see some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine in the afternoon before cloud increases into the evening. It will be mainly fine and dry but there will be a few lingering showers. Winds gusting to 40 mph this morning but will ease as the day progresses under 20 mph to end the day. Temps of 4C to 9C
Tuesday – Overcast with spells of showery rain. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Heaviest of the rain into the evening.
Wednesday – Wintry showers and further spells of rain. Some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and some gusts reaching 50 mph.
Thursday – Wintry showers and some snow showers at times. Lots of uncertainty as yet. A cold day but winds slowly easing.
