Tuesday’s forecast – Overcast with drizzle rain later.

Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with a few showers. Most places are dry. Winds under 10 mph.

Overnight – We are going to see an overcast night with some spells of light rain and drizzle but most places will be dry. Some clear spells at times but for most, it will be cloudy. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Again the cloud will mainly dominate. Some sunny spells but these will be few and far between. Outbreaks of light rain and drizzle on and off throughout the day. Not all will see drizzle and some places will stay dry. Winds will increase. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – A band of rain will move across the entire Western Isles this will be heavy for a time. Possibly persistent for a time. The cloud dominating and winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 4C to 10C

Wednesday – Sunshine and wintry showers with sleet and snow. A chilly day with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph.

Friday – Another cold day with further wintry showers.
