On this Monday morning, we are seeing a cold but dry start to the day. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Temps down to -1C overnight. Winds under 10 mph. Some mist and fog patches.

Across the highlands and islands on Sunday South Uist had the highest maximum temperature of 8.1C and South Uist had the highest maximum temp of 8.1C

Today – We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. A few mist and fog patches this morning and some frost and ice but this will clear away as the morning goes on. Winds gusting 20 mph increasing to 40 mph in this evening with some heavier rain moving in later in the day. Winds will be from the North East and temps of 3C to 9C

Tuesday – Heavy overnight rain. Sunshine and showers for the rest of the day Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph reaching 50 mph for the Uists and Barra.

Wednesday – Sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers and breezy.

Thursday – Overcast sunshine and showers with heavier rain moving in later.
