On this Tuesday morning, we are seeing some rain and drizzle moving across the Western Isles. This is heavy in places. Some dry slots. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Overnight low of 5.5C

Across the highlands and islands on Sunday Stornoway had the highest maximum temperature of 7.7C and also the highest amount of sunshine with 2.1 hours.

Today – We are going to see rain and showers. Some of these heavy at times. Some merging into some longer spells of rain. Some sunny spells and a few clear spells after sunset. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Easing a little into the evening for Lewis and Harris. Winds will be from the North East. Temps of 2C to 8C

Wednesday – Sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers and breezy.

Thursday – Overcast sunshine and showers with heavier rain moving in later. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Friday – Overcast with spells of rain. Heavy at times with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
