On this Friday morning, we are seeing rain and showers moving across the islands. Some are heavy in places. Mainly overcast with some clear skies. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Overnight low of 8.2C
Across the Highlands and island on Thursday Stornoway had the highest amount of rainfall with 5.8 mm and South Uist had the highest maximum temperature of 9.2C
Today – We are going to see spells of rain. These will be heavy at times. Heaviest across the Uists and Barra. Rain moving slowly northwards. Cloud dominating. Winds will be from the South East around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 5C to 10C
Saturday – Lighter winds with sunshine and showers.
Sunday – Spells of heavy rain and winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Possibly gusting 50 mph for the Uists and Barra.
Monday – Sunshine and showers with brisk winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Feeling mild.
