Sunday’s forecast – The Atlantic growls

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing a fine and dry end to the day. A mixture of clear skies and cloud with some mist and fog patches. Winds under 20 mph and temps are close to or below freezing.

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. The cloud will increase as the night goes on. Rain will move across the Western Isles this will become heavy at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times with some dry spells at times. The cloud will dominate and any sunny spells will be few and far between. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Evening – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times again but increasing dry conditions and some clear skies by the late evening as the rain clears away for most. But the rain slow moving to clear across parts of Lewis. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 4C to 10C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
