Monday’s forecast – Rain and showers.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening the heaviest of the rain is slowly clearing away from the Western isles. The heaviest is still across Lewis and Harris but drier for Uist and Barra. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Today’s high of 8.5C at South Uist range.

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and showers. These at times will merge into some longer spells of rain. It will be a mild night. Winds will gust 20 to 30 mph with some gusts reaching 40 mph for the Uist and Barra,

Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and showers throughout the day. Some of these will be heavy at times and again merging some longer spells of rain. In between some decent and dry spells and sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph for the Uist and Barra.

Evening – It remains fairly windy. The showers will be more scattered as the evening goes on. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 6C to 11C
