On this Wednesday morning, we are seeing heavy rain moving across most of the Western Isles. This is slow moving. The rain has cleared from Barra for now. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Overnight low of 5.2C

Today – Further rounds of heavy rain today. Slow moving rain at times. The rain will be persistent at times. Some dry spells before further spells of heavy rain during the afternoon and evening. Overcast with occasional sunny spells. Winds will be from the South East but into the evening will shift to come from the South West. Temps of 6C to 10C

Thursday – Sunshine and showers. Becoming cooler with brisk winds.

Friday – Further spells of rain. Heavy at times with blustery winds.

Saturday – Thundery showers possible. Blustery winds.
