On this Monday afternoon we are seeing a band of heavy rain clearing the Western Isles and its wake showers. With some sunny spells. This will clear for most allowing for a mainly dry evening with a scattering of showers. Winds of 20 to 30 mph. Today’s high of 8.3C `

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Tuesday – A wave front moves across the across the islands and heralds a change to more colder conditions across the islands. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. It will turn colder as the day goes on and winds will ease. Winds will be from the West and North West around 0 to 20 mph. Temps of 2C to 9C
Wednesday – High pressure builds across the Atlantic. We are going to see mainly fine and dry conditions. It will be a cold day with winds coming from the North and North East. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 2C to 6C
Christmas Eve – High pressure builds further across the UK. We are going to see a cold Christmas Eve with few showers. Some of these wintry at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph coming down from the North. Risk of frost and ice to start the day. Some sunshine but a largely overcast day. Temps of 1C to 6C
