Impacts for the Western Isles.
So I am not expecting a lot of snow from this in the Western Isles. Even the Met Office are saying inland 1 cm. So here we are going to se slow and snow showers this evening and overnight. We could see a dusting in some spots for a time. The greatest risk will be over higher ground. These should become less frequent as the night goes on. We are also going to see a widespread frost and ice with most places dropping close to or below freezing with temps getting as low as -2/-3C some places will stay above freezing.
Here is the Western Isles councils gritting policy https://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/roads-travel-and-parking/roads-maintenance-winter-gritting/
Please do NOT use Western Isles Weather for the protection of life and property please follow local and national government issued warnings and advice. Please have more than one source for weather information in extreme weather, Such as the Met office.
