Week ahead forecast – A middling week

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. This weekend was a wet, wintry and windy. weekend.

Tuesday – We are going to see rain and showers. Heaviest rain for Uist and Barra. Winds again gusting 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the North and North West. Some sunny spells and a cold start to the day. Temps of 2C to 7C

Wednesday – A mainly fine and dry day to start but we are going to see some sunshine and scattered showers. Mainly dry and chilly. Lighter winds finally. Winds under 20 mph from the North and North West. Temps of 2C to 7C

Thursday – Cold with a risk of wintry showers. Possibly some snow light winds sunny spells and early frost and Ice. Winds Under 20 mph. Temps of 0C to 5C.

Friday – Another cold but mainly dry day with sunshine and scattered showers. Winds again from the North and North East Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 0C to 6C so risk of frost and ice.

Next weekend – A fairly settled weekend.
