On this Thursday afternoon we are seeing rain and showers moving across the Western Isles. Mainly across Lewis and Harris at the moment. Winds gusting 10 to 30 mph and today’s high so far of 5.6C

Western Isles 3 day weather forecast
Friday – Another cold day. We are going to see winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Some overnight showers. Wintry showers as the day goes on with snow later in the day. This could give a covering of snow in some places. Another cold night with frost and ice. High pressure slides across the UK. Winds will be from the North. temps of -1C to 6C
Saturday – Another cold night with frost and ice. Some sleet and snow showers overnight. Staying cold on Saturday with frost and ice and low temperatures. It should be a mostly fine and dry Saturday with sunshine and cloud. Another cold night. Winds under 20 mph from the North and North West. Temps of -1C to 5C
Sunday – High pressure moves across the Western Isles. A fine and dry day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Light winds and a widespread frost and ice as temps struggle to climb above freezing for most of the day. Winds under 20 mph from the North East. Temps of -2C to 4C
