On this Friday afternoon we are seeing rain and wintry showers moving across the Western Isles. We have seen some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds under 20 mph and todays high so far of 4.6C

Saturday – high pressure blocks the Atlantic. A few lingering wintry showers. A hard frost with sunshine and cloud across the Western Isles. When the sleet and snow showers clear should be a mainly fine day. Clear skies to end the day. Winds under 20 mph. Winds will be from the North. Temps of -2C to 6C
Sunday – High pressure builds over Norway. A fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Winds will be under 20 mph. Some frost and ice during the morning and afternoon. Feeling cold but nice in the sunshine. Winds will be from the North and North East. Temps of 0C to 7C
Monday – High pressure dominates across from Norway. A fine dry day with wall to wall sunshine. A hard frost. Winds under 10 mph from variable directions. Temps of -2C to 4C
