On this Sunday morning, we are seeing a cold and icy start to the day once again with widespread frost and ice. It a dry start with a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph. Overnight low of -1.2C at South Usit range.
Across the highlands and islands on Saturday Stornoway was the sunniest with 2.7 hours of sunshine.
Today – We are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with a mixture of clear skies and sunshine. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. A few scattered showers and these could be heavy and wintry at times but for most, it will stay dry. Stying icy for many but there will be a small increase in temps during the middle of the day. Clear skies and cloud after sunset. Winds under 20 mph. Winds will be from the North East. Temps of -1C to 6C
Monday and Tuesday – Fine dry with sunshine and cloud. Cold with widespread frost and ice.
Wednesday – A cloudier day with increased winds and rain pushing in later in the day.
