Good afternoon and welcome to Sunday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Sunday afternoon we are seeing fine dry evening. A hard and widespread frost. Winds under 10 mph. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Temps around 2/3C this evening.

Western Isles 3 day weather forecast
Monday – A fine dry day with plenty of prolonged sunshine. Widespread frost and ice. Mist and fog overnight. Temps getting down as low as -2/3C in places. Winds under 20 mph. The odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Winds under 10 mph from variable directions. Temps of -3C to 3C. High pressure still dominates over the top of us 1035 mb.
Tuesday – Again high pressure dominates across the UK. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds will be light under 10 mph. Once more we are going to see another widespread frost and ice. Winds will be variable directions and temps of -3C to 5C
Wednesday – High pressure declines away and low pressure moves between Iceland and Norway. A trailing cold front will move across the Western Isles. This will bring rain to all parts later in the day. This rain will be heavy at times. It will be a cold frosty and icy start once again. Winds will gust to 30 mph later in the day. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 1C to 6C
