Good morning Western Isles this is your Monday morning brief

On this Monday morning, we are seeing a cold and icy start to the day once again with widespread frost and ice. Down to -1.6C at South Uist range. It a dry start with a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph.

Today – We are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with some wall to wall sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Some mist and fog. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Frost and ice for most throughout the day. For most, it will stay too cold for the ice to melt. Winds under 20 mph. Winds will be from variable directions and temps of -2C to 4C
Tuesday – Fine dry with sunshine and cloud. Cold with widespread frost and ice.

Wednesday – A cloudier day with increased winds and rain pushing in later in the day.

Thursday – A cold day with a few wintry showers. Brisk winds and more cloud.
