On this Thursday morning, we are seeing a mixture of rain sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles. In between some clear skies. Overnight low of 0.5C at the Met Office sites. Further inland lower temperatures recorded. Winds under 10 mph.

Today – further frost and ice. A blustery day with winds gusting 30 mph. Some wit the sleet and snow showers. These falling as rain for a time. Could cause some accumulations for a time but mainly over the highest of ground. In the breaks in the cloud, we will see some sunny spells decent at times. Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of -2C to 4C
Friday – a hard frost once again with sleet and snow showers. Temperatures struggling to get much above freezing.
Saturday – finally turning milder. Sunshine and showers along with blustery winds.
Sunday – Risk of gales and showers these heavy at times.
