Good morning Western Isles this is your Saturday morning brief

On this Saturday morning, we are seeing milder weather. Some rain and showers. Mainly overcast with some clear spells. Temps up to 5/6C. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph.

Across the Highlands and Islands on Friday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 3.3C.

Today – We are going to see rain and showers. It will be overcast with some sunny spells. Some heavier rain will move across the Western Isles during the afternoon and becoming showers this evening. Winds of 10 to 30 mph at times gusting 40 to 45 mph. Temps of 4C to 9C. Turning colder again this evening. Winds will be from the South West but moved from the North West later.

Sunday – Wet and windy with a risk of gales winds gusting 40 to 50 mph.

Monday – Blustery showers and these will be wintry at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Tuesday – Lighter winds and colder with scattered showers.
