Sunday’s forecast – Rain and squally showers

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing rain and showers this evening. Heavy in places and some of these are wintry. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. Today’s high of 8.1C

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. We are going to see some showers heavy at times. Some of these wintry in nature. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Again squally showers these will merge for a time into some longer spells of rain. In between some sunny spells. Some of the showers at times will be wintry. Winds of 20 to 45 mph.

Evening – A mixture of clear skies and cloud with a few squally showers. These heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 3C to 9C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
