On this Monday morning, we are seeing rain and squally showers moving across the Western Isles. These are heavy in places. Winds gusting to 40 mph for Uist and Barra under 20 mph for Lewis. Overnight low of 1.6C
Today – We are going to see rain and showers. These will be squally at times. Some of these showers will be wintry at times and a slight chance that some of them could be thundery. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Into the evening the showers will ease with a mixture of clear skies and cloud with a risk of frost and ice. Temps of 2C to 8C
Tuesday – Becoming colder with lighter winds. Showery and sunny spells.
Wednesday – Cold start with sunshine and showers.
Thursday – Gales and possibly severe gales with spells of rain and showers. Heavy and then wintry. ( Worth keeping an eye on).
