Good evening Western isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and a few scattered showers. Winds have dropped under 20 mph. Today’s high of 6.7C so far. This evening temps for Lewis and Harris are at or close to freezing.

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few scattered squally showers. Some of these heavy at times. Frost and ice in places. Coldest for Lewis and Harris. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Morning and afternoon – A few showers. These will be heavy at times. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Frost and ice in places. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds under 20 mph.

Evening – A few showers some of these heavy at times. But for many mainly dry. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. A cold evening with risk of frost and ice. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of -2C to 7C
