On this Thursday morning we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Frost and ice in patches as well. Some rain and this is wintry in places. Winds gusting 20/40 mph some overnight gusts have reached 50 mph. Temps above freezing for most but most places up to around 4/5C.
Today – a mixture of sunshine and showers. These will be wintry at times falling as sleet and snow. Could see a dusting in a few spots. Some decent spells of sunshine but the showers will be fairly frequent and wintry. Frost and ice in sheltered spots. Winds will be from the North and North East. Temps of 1C to 6C but feeling colder in the wind chill . Winds gusting 20/40 mph widely but we could see some gusts reaching 50 mph for a time.
Friday – blustery winds again with frequent rain sleet and snow rain showers. More cloud and a few sunny spells. We could see a dusting of snow in places for time. Widespread frost and ice especially into the evening. Winds of 10/35 mph but easing as the day goes on
Saturday – an icy cold start. A few sunny spells. Lighter winds and a scattering of showers
Sunday – sunshine and cloud. A few showers. These wintry at times.
