Good afternoon all the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for the Western Isles. The warning came into force at 10:30 Saturday morning and expires at 11:00 Sunday morning.

Impacts for the Western Isles
We are going to see further snow showers moving across the Western Isles today and these will be heavy at times with further accumulations. Some of the snow will turn to sleet and rain at times. There will be some snowmelt today but this will be minimal. Another hard frost this evening. Temps down to -3/-4C. The snow showers are expected to become more scattered overnight.
