On this Saturday afternoon we are seeing see wintry showers moving across the Western Isles. Sleet and snow showers. Some clear skies and the cloud is dominating for most. Winds gusting 10 to 30 mph. Today’s high of 3.7C

Western Isles 3 day weather forecast
Sunday – Another cold across the Western Isles. We are going to see overnight frost and ice once again. It will be a hard frost. Further wintry sleet and snow showers moving across the islands. These will be heavy at times. Some snow showers. Mist and low cloud. Into Sunday day a mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers. Into the evening a further hard frost across the islands. Winds will be from the West and south around 10 to 20 mph. Temps of -2C to 6C becoming milder for Uist and Barra.
Monday – Low pressure sits over North East Scotland but it is a weak system. We are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with a few scattered showers. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Frost and ice once again first thing. Winds will be from the North and North under 20 mph. Temps of -1C to 5C
Tuesday – Another cold and icy start across the Western Isles. The cloud will dominate with sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of these wintry at times. The cloud will dominate with winds will be from the East and South East around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of -1C to 5C
