Good morning Western Isles this is your Sunday morning brief

On this Sunday morning, we are seeing another cold start to the day. Widespread frost and ice. Further wintry showers with plenty of cloud. Some clear skies Winds under 10 mph. Overnight low of -2.3C

A reminder we are under a Met Office yellow weather warning for snow and ice until 11:00 this morning. The full warning and lastest updates can be found via the Met Office website or app.

Today – We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Further wintry rain. sleet and snow showers. These will be heavy at times. In between some decent spells of sunshine. becoming a little milder for Uist and Barra. But staying icy for Lewis and Harris. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of -1C to 6C

Monday – Cold with wintery showers.

Tuesday – Cold in the North with frost and ice. Windy and milder in the South.

Wednesday – Milder for most and becoming breezy later.
