Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a few scattered showers around. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Under clearing skies, we have seen temps drop close to or below freezing. So frost and ice is an issue once more. Winds under 10 mph. Today’s high of 6.4C
Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Frost and ice widespread once again. A few scattered showers which occasionally will be heavy. Winds under 20 mph. Some lightly milder temperatures for Uist and Barra.
Morning and afternoon – The cloud will dominate with some sunny spells. However, the rain will edge into Uist and Barra by late morning. The rain could be wintry at times. The rain will move across Uist and Barra into Harris as the afternoon goes on. This will be heavy at times and again possibly wintry at times. Lewis is expected to stay mostly dry the odd shower is possible pushing in from the South but the rain band is expected to stay further South. Will update you if this changes in the morning brief.
