Friday’s forecast – High ho high pressure

Good evening Western Isles we have seen moving across the Western Isles with some sleet mixed in. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Today’s high of 5.0C

Overnight – The rain will linger for many and will be heavy at times. The rain will slowly sink southwards and clear. The cloud will dominate. Some clear spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Fine and dry for most with some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Still quite a bit of cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Should be fine and dry with clear skies and cloud. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 10 to 20 mph and under clearing skies we are likely to see frost and ice once more.

Winds will be from the North East. Temps of 2C to 6C
