Good afternoon all the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for Lewis and Harris for Monday. The warning comes into force at 00:00 midnight Monday morning and expires at 12:00 Monday afternoon.

Once again there is some uncertainty as to how much snow we are going to see. As mentioned in the above warning we could see a couple of cms of snow in places. The greatest risk will be over higher ground. We will see a widespread frost and ice again. Winds will be light. I will have a full Monday forecast later this evening.
