On this Friday, we are seeing a windy morning across the Western isles with clear skies and cloud. A few scattered showers but most places are dry. Overnight low of 1.9C and winds gusting 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Today – Sunshine and some cloud. Some light rain and drizzle. Feeling cold in the wind chill. Most places staying dry. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. Winds will be from the South East. Temps of 0C to 4C

Saturday – Cold, sleet and snow showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. For Uist and Barra gusting 60

Sunday – heavy rain and showers and windy winds widely 40 to 50 mph gusting 60 mph for Uist and Barra gusting 70 mph.

Monday – Mild overcast blustery winds and showers.
