On this Saturday afternoon we are seeing some rain sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles. The cloud is dominating. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 60 mph for Uist and Barra. Highest gust so far of 63 mph. Today’s high temp of 4.5C

Sunday – Low pressure to the West and High pressure to the East we are going to see a day of strong winds and heavy rain and it’s going to become milder. We are going to see winds gusting 30 to 50 mph and times 60 mph for Lewis and Harris. Late morning and afternoon gusting 70 to possible 80 mph for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 4C to 8C
Monday – Low pressure clears away. We are going to see a brisk airflow across the UK. Winds of 20 to 40 mph at times gusting 50 mph. Mainly dry with a few scattered showers. Largely overcast with some sunny spells. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 6C to 9C
Tuesday – The next area of low pressure moves past the Western Isles pictured here 977 mb. We are going to see spells of rain heavy at times. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph possibly 60 mph at times. The cloud will dominate. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 3C to 8C.
