On this Sunday morning, we are seeing spells of rain which are heavy in places. Some dry interludes. Winds have been gusting to 40 mph for parts of Lewis and Harris. For Uist and Barra, we have seen winds gusting 60 to 70 mph. The highest gust so far of 75 mph. Today highs of 7.1C

Today – Spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Becoming more showery with drier interludes into the late evening. Winds of 30 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph widely. For Uist and Barra gusting 70 to 80 mph. Some slightly higher gusts cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the South East and Shifting Sout West in the afternoon. Temps of 5C to 9C
Monday – Mild overcast blustery winds and showers. Lighter winds.
Tuesday – Strong winds and spells of heavy rain. Staying mild.
Wednesday – Heavy rain sunny spells and strong winds.
