Good evening all. Earlier today the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for winds for the Western Isles from 10:00 Wednesday morning until 22:00 Wednesday evening.

Once again the strongest of the winds on Wednesday will be for the Uist and Barra. The most likely part of the Islands to see 60 to 70 mph. Again slightly lighter for the bulk of Lewis and Harris. It will be a very wet day. I will do a full in depth forecast for Wednesday later.
