Good morning Western Isles this is your Saturday morning brief
Another day another storm. We are going to see another storm moving in later in the day. Likely to see winds gusting 70 mph possibly some stronger gusts later. No Met Office warning at this stage but I wouldn’t rule it out with the wind speeds expected. I will keep you updated.
On this Saturday morning, we are seeing the calm before the storm with sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. Overnight low of 7.6C
Today – After a mainly dry start to the day with sunshine and cloud a few scattered showers. Cloud will increase with heavy rain moving in during the afternoon and evening this rain will be persistent at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph this afternoon and evening will see the strongest of the winds. The winds will shift from the South East to come from the South West some gusts will reach 70 mph and again the odd 80 mph gust can not be ruled out. Temps of 5C to 10C
Sunday – Windy overnight and blustery winds during the day. A few scattered showers.
Monday – Sunshine and showers breezy. Winds easing.
Tuesday – Another storm moves in with heavy rain later.
Have a great day.
